You guys.  HOW COOL WERE THE OPENING CEREMONIES? 

I mean, they covered absolutely everything.  I am in overload.  The transformation of the stadium from the Agrarian Age to the Industrial Revolution was insane and amazing (if not a little weird) and the fake Queen parachute?  I die.  

I LOVED the marching bobbies and the dancing doctors and patients of GOSH, but, of course, all the UK pop culture was my favorite.

to…um…BECKS…

Oh, and not to mention all my favorite Brit music including the Beatles, the Stones, Queen, and even a tip of the hat to the late, great Amy Weinhouse (RIP), the Olympic Opening Ceremonies really brought out the Anglophile in me. 

(I mean, who doesn't love a corgi???)

If London is calling…I am answering.
