Big Success!
There were over 300 participants at the Walk for Lupus on Saturday, raising around $25,000 and TEAM KATIE came in second place…missing out on first by a VERY narrow margin of only $30!

Even my dad found a manly way to wear a tiara!
…and stayed hydrated thanks to the superawesome TEAM KATIE water bottles courtesy of Jennifer Kulbursh and Kamin and Associates! 
Katie was a total rock star! They gave her a tent for a home base
and she was interviewed by our local news station, CBS 42!

Saturday was too much fun! I am so glad you came in from Atlanta to support your sister. My sister flies to Nashville from CT. to walk with me. 2010 will be our 5th year walking in Nashville. I plan to link this information to our chapter Fan page on Facebook! Thanks again!
Boo to CBS42 for their video order… they have this lovely video of people talking about Lupus awareness and then it suddenly goes to an anchor saying “You know what I hate? When I’m walking down the street and a drunken parrot falls out of the sky?” Not really a proper segue…!!!
