Soooooooo, I’m more than a bit obsessed with The Spence + I’m working v. hard to become a regular there.

And, I have to just tell you that they did the CUTEST thing the other night.  Every time we ordered a bottle of wine (which happened twice over the course of our delicious meal), the server brought over the bottle with a little Wine Tidbit for us to read at the table + take home.

Here’s what we got…

Wine Tidbit #1: The legs of a wine refer to the tears that run down the glass when you swirl it.  Legs demonstrate elevated levels of alcohol or residual sugar.

Wine Tidbit #2: The finish on a wine refers to the length of time it lasts on your palate.  The longer the higher the quality of the wine.

We got to try two excellent wines off of The Spence’s Leap of Faith list + we learned a little something, too.

It was a pretty darn spectacular night in my book.
